Kinder Class is designed to introduce early elementary students to the world of music and drama. Students will sing songs, act out scenes, & learn dances which will help build skills that will be a foundation for future learning. Kinder Class will meet weekly for 45 mins.
Spotlight Performing Arts Academy offers music instruction in piano, voice, guitar, bass, percussion, banjo, mandolin, brass, woodwinds and string instruments. We also offer different types of group ensembles.
If acting is for you, we offer private and group lessons as well as classes for all ages in both theatre and film performance.

In Spotlight Jr Show Choir younger students will have the chance to work on vocal technique and performance while singing all their favorite Broadway and Disney songs! Spotlight Kids Choir is an 8 week class that meet weekly for 1 hr. Each session will end in a performance.
Show Choir is a performance group that offers singing and dancing. Students will learn a variety of music and choreography. The Show Choir will also represent Spotlight at different events throughout the year. Show Choir is a 10 week class that meets weekly for 1 1/2 hrs. Each session will end in a show.
Production Class is a theatre class that offers a chance for students to participate in the production of a musical. Students may audition for a role or work behind the scenes as stage crew members. Production Class is an 8-10 week class that meets 2-3 days a week for 2 hours depending on a student's role in the production.
Ages Middle/High School
Want to try acting for the first time? Want to develop your acting skills? This class begins with improvisation, body movement, and theater games, and progresses to monologue, scene work, script analysis, and character development. The goal is to prepare each student for the experience of performing for an audience.
Ages 8-16 Ages 16-Adult
Here at Spotlight we have programs that provide homeschooled children with the opportunity to experience music and theater with other kids their own age. We welcome and encourage home schooled students to take advantage of all of our wonderful offerings. Students can take group or private lessons on a variety of musical instruments or acting, join ensembles, become a cast member in one of our many shows, participate in various clinics, workshops and master classes by faculty and guest artists, and have the chance to perform on the Spotlight performance stage. Our offerings vary, so give us a call to find out more information and what specific programs we have available.
Private lessons are available in voice, guitar, piano, bass, percussion, acting, band and orchestra instruments and much more! Students will have the opportunity to participate in quarterly showcases.
